Our mission at United Way of Mifflin-Juniata is to improve people’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community. United Way seeks to create long-lasting changes by collaborating and supporting other community programs, which can be found under our Community Partners tab. Additionally, we also support several of the following programs and initiatives that are operated from within our own office.
Success By 6 partners with early childhood programs, community agencies and school districts in Mifflin and Juniata Counties to build a seamless transition for children and their families to kindergarten.

PA 2-1-1 is a free, accessible, 3-digit telephone number available to everyone. All residents have easy access to customized health, housing, and human services information in one place. You can call 2-1-1 at any time - it is available as a 24 hour, 7 day a week hotline, a quick and easy resource when you need to find help.
Get Connected is a user-friendly database for people who are looking to get involved as volunteers at local agencies and programs. The site allows nonprofits to easily promote volunteer opportunities, in‐kind needs, and special events. Members of the community can browse existing needs and and then register for service opportunities that align with their passions.
