Are you or someone you know in need of assistance?

Many individuals and families struggle to make ends meet and don’t know who to turn to for help and guidance or are often too embarrassed to ask.

One phone call to The Coalition of HOPES can help an individual or family get the assistance they need to get back on track with basic needs and finances. HOPES provides a single connection to gaining assistance to:

• Fuel • Food
• Utilities • Rent

The Coalition of HOPES includes the Energy Bank, Shelter Services, United Way of Mifflin-Juniata, TIU Community Education Services, and the Mifflin Juniata Human Services Department.

The Coalition of HOPES is a group of community service agencies who have joined together to help people reach self- sufficiency. The Coalition will help customers keep their family financially stable so they no longer have to rely on agencies for their basic needs by:

• ENGAGING the customer
• LINKING them to resources
• SUPPORTING them in decision making
• GUIDING them to financial independence
