Our mission at United Way of Mifflin-Juniata is to improve people’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community. It is our belief that every person should have the opportunity to gain a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

United Way seeks to create long-lasting changes by collaborating and supporting other community programs. We also support several of the following initiatives that are operated from within our own office. Below are some United Way partners that have additional resources that can help our local community.
PA 2-1-1 is a free, accessible, 3-digit telephone number available to everyone. All residents have easy access to customized health, housing, and human services information in one place. You can call 2-1-1 at any time - it is available as a 24 hour, 7 day a week hotline, a quick and easy resource when you need to find help.
